What a journey it's been! After graduating from UCC I went to Laurier University & spent a year on exchange in Italy. Living in Europe was life changing and the travel bug set in! After graduating from Laurier I moved to the Gold Coast, Australia where I lived for 2 years completing my Masters of Teaching degree. After graduating from Griffith University I got my very 1st teaching job in a grade 2 classroom in the middle east.I spent 2 years teaching in Abu Dhabi and 2 years in Dubai at an International Private School. My classrooms were filled with children from as many as 18 different countries. Not yet ready to move back to Canada I took a new teaching placement in London, UK where I lived for 5 years. While in England I met my South African husband and we had our 1st daughter. With our baby in tow we made the move back to Chatham-Kent! 3 years later we welcomed our 2nd daughter & a puppy.

Raising a family in Chatham-Kent is one of the best decisions we ever made. It has been an absolute joy being back home, not only because of my fresh appreciation for our hometown, but also for the joy of being closer to family and reconnecting with old friends. When Olivia mentioned throwing a 25th High School Reunion I couldn't say no! It has been a pleasure planning this and we hope to provide a night everyone will remember.
